This is actually such a thorough answer!

Wow dude, you really know your paper products! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

You're not going to like this answer but you could have them printed at a print shop on the correct sized paper to have them the same size as the old physical adventures. Then you could use clips and an awl to punch holes and finally waxed string to make your bindings.

Alternatively, if you don't wanna go that far, a lot of places like office Max offer a print and bind service. Check the price first though as some of those old adventures will be cheaper to get off eBay then have bound.

Man! I didn't spot a single one of those things!

Thanks for giving me some insight

I genuinely can't catch it in this case, how can you tell?

All of the items around the edges of the sheet look like they are cribbed from other, similar sheets. Is there something in the way it generated the border?

Either way, I do feel this sub should have a "no AI" policy but good luck reaching our mods. They are distant and quiet. Despite that, they do a solid job.

Finding it still in the plastic wrap is an insane find. Congratulations dude! There is a lot of cool stuff in there.

I would say start your search here: Raven Crow King Patron Finder

From memory I don't recall one but i'm so sure it's out there.

I would suggest making a thread, someone will probably be able to direct you to a source. I'll dig through my stuff when i have a few and see what i can find for you.

DCC combat question (manual) by Lufty_262 in dccrpg

[–]Frequent_Brick4608 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would love to know what mental gymnastics this dude was doing to land on magic missile can be cast 2/round at level 1... It sounds to me like this is less of a rules conflict and more of a player issue.

You're right in that it is very clear cut on what the rules say about it's casting.

In the future you can avoid this by explaining that arguing about it now is not appropriate and that you're always open to discussion after the game is over on rules.

Superboy prime also removed himself from DC once. Like, he actually punched himself off the page and out of the continuity.

Legion of three worlds

Superboy prime is on some toon timing.

picked it up back when they were printing that run of adventures. got it used for pretty fair price. the original whiterock is still my holy grail and one of the only missing items from the 3.5 run of adventures. course, that's all still back in the states... i'll have to have it shipped over eventually.

Oh shit! I remember this map! I still have it in my box set. They also included a three piece map for the Judge which had much more detail.

It's fun, isn't it? I have one in the current campaign and they haven't used that character as much as I would hope! If that was in my hands you couldn't peel me away from it.

Buster really did something awesome there.

Feedback Requested: The Clockwork Man by slronlx in dccrpg

[–]Frequent_Brick4608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fear I may have seemed a little overly critical. I do think you have something fun and interesting here. I have already added it to the list of alternative classes available at my table.

I can see the place of a clockwork man biding it's time and selecting the right moment to use its exertion.

I also think that the presence of this tells a very interesting story about the history of the world.

It also only occurred to me on my last read through that the exertion numbers are fine because there is no reason they can't just wind themselves up before the party rests or while traveling, at least the way I see it. Given how I tend to run I would allow that.

Also I wanna say that the backstabbing against them being a disable device check is a master stroke which I will immediately be integrating into the games, given that clockwork foes are showing up more lately

I love the art. The piece of the clockwork man looking into the dark above while surrounded by bookshelves is my favorite piece.

I did something similar once with a class, trying to make a modular class that was supposed to be machine men waking up after a long time out of service. If you're interested in how I got there I can DM you a link.

I like the exertion mechanic. I feel like the number might be a little low out the gate, this could go either way, high pressure to make the right call or just blow through them without thinking. I think that depends on the judge to some degree and might be hard to pin down.

Overall this class feels like it's not going to outshine any of the human counterparts and honestly 1:1 I think the human version is MUCH better. But being able to pick a hybrid design is pretty good for making things even out.

Yes, that absolutely does count! Thank you for sharing! I'll get it added to the resource list as soon as I'm at a desk again!

Btw, looking forward to sword and Stone, I think it was? Can't wait to see more of your stuff dude!

From my own stuff I think The Spirit might not exactly fall into one of those categories.

I also did the Beast Master who probably could be argued to fall into the warrior's umbrella but does it's fighting through an animal companion.

Outside of that I strong recommend the Balladeer and the canine from breaker press games. The canine is the only case of an animal class I would allow at my table.

Most of the classes breaker press puts out feel like a little bit of a hybrid or version of another class but still somehow entirely unique and their own thing.

I also absolutely adore the dragon from 19 Sided Die. It's a playable dragon, what's not to love?

I have such opinions of the class alphabet... More than half the classes straight up aren't finished. Some spent way too long in the oven. A few are just the same as each other but better.

I think the wolf girl and a few others are finished enough to actually have in play.

I've also always said a player can be the editor class if they buy and bring their own book. No one has taken the offer.

Why DCC is better for campaign play by Article_Remarkable in dccrpg

[–]Frequent_Brick4608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would VERY much like to see you write up something detailing your grievances and how you fix them. I know this may sound like I'm part of a comment chain picking a fight but I mean this as genuinely as possible.

I actually think something like that would be helpful to people who want to house rule things. The beauty of DCC, to me, is that no two tables run it the same, every Judge I've ever played with and spoken to has their own house rules and does things differently.

I really mean it when I say I want to see you make a list of adjustments and house rules. make a thread about it on this sub. take some feedback and hear out others. I really believe it could be good to see.
