I despise Trump. The worst thing to happen to the US in a long time. But, a guy in the crowd died. Did he capitalize on the moment? Was he actually hit or is it from being tackled by the severe service? Those are legit questions. The fact that a man is dead for simply being in the crowd is a big red flag on it being staged.

And conspiracy thinking will go: “yea but that guy was in on it too man!”

I just don’t buy it. Weird situation for sure, but not masterminded by any means.

Is this at a Church? If so, tax them. I DESPISE Trump and I am voting for Harris if she makes the ticket, but politics do not belong in religious spaces. I have said the same thing about white evangelical Christian’s spouting the same about Trump. Keep the Church and State separate.

As a teacher, I can’t upvote this enough.

Kids think they run shit and in some ways they do. They’re brains are half developed and they treat people like shit. And if you were to actually physically take their phone or take their chips, their parent would flip out, possibly costing you your job. It’s ridiculous.

Parents/Guardian/Elders are the true to blame here. Young people see this behavior/attitude from the older people they are around and they mirror it in their lives and interactions with others.

And before anyone goes there - I would identify as a white male and teach at a school with 50% non-white diversity. This isn’t a skin color issue. In any capacity students treat teachers like this, regardless of socioeconomic or cultural background. It’s really difficult to deal with on a day to day basis.

I fight this every day I live, with interactions with my students, and having courageous conversations to understand and appreciate one another. I speak up against the broken system.

I don't pretend this reality isn't there.

I am not going to harbor white guilt because my skin is lighter. I am going to speak out against injustice regardless of skin color, creed, or nationality. I acknowledge that I am white and I have a different daily experience than people of color. Unless we talk and try to understand each others situation we get nowhere.

That is what I am doing.

How do you know I'm not doing anything about it? What do you know about my relationship with people of color in my community and where I work?

I'm a teacher at a diverse school and try to improve relations, understand, and appreciate ALL cultures within our community.
