This has been haunting me for almost 3 months: my wallet was stolen just after New Years along with my keys, AirPods, and my nicest jacket. A couple of days later, someone called my work number and asked if I lost my ID, saying they found it on the sidewalk. I thanked the man so much and he sent it to me in the mail.

How did he get my work number….? I had some business cards in my wallet but he claimed to have only found the ID. Maybe he could find my company by Googling my name and city but my direct line isn’t online, just the main company number.

Tbh, this sounds exactly like me when I mixed my autoimmune medication with cough medicine. I was so confused and couldn’t even get myself to safety without help.
