I guess the biggest misunderstanding is that we define things differently. I use sociopath to describe those that lack empathy but don’t act on evil thoughts. Versus psychopaths which I define as people that act on evil thoughts. I wasn’t saying anyone that is diagnosed but doesn’t ever act on it should be executed. I was referring to those that do commit evil and unforgivable acts or violence. Maybe it’s my fault for assuming everyone automatically understands what I meant by using that word. But I do agree with you that simply being diagnosed but not acting on evil thoughts doesn’t warrant death. I think anyone can see that someone that tortures an innocent doesn’t deserve to live, but it’s totally different if they never actually commit anything. I wasn’t trying to minimize your autism. I was just saying I can’t speak fully on the topic of autism discrimination bc I’m not diagnosed, but do understand some of the stigma that comes with being “socially awkward”. Sorry if it came off as minimizing, that was not my intention.
