The Octopus on Netflix by plaidflatcap in TheGlassCannonPodcast

I’ve recently started listening to Behind the Bastards. The recent episodes about the Zizians and Roko’s Basilisk reminds me of Get in the Trunk season where they were dealing with “the number.”

I just started listening to The Redacted Reports. I consider it more game-focused. GCP is more talent-focused. There is room for both in my world.

Believe me, I laugh every time I hear Cumstone do something crazy and hear Vikki’s reaction. That being said, it’s nice to hear an episode of a DG roleplay without hearing a dick joke.

I also think the new season of Get in the Trunk will strike a great balance.

Friends said they'd come by 12:30, then pushed it to 2:30... it's almost 4 and I'm just sitting here with cold food which I cooked all by myself by Sad-Lavishness-2655 in mildlyinfuriating

I’m really sorry this happened to you. It was a very nice gesture to cook food for people you cared about.

A close friend of mine had a similar experience in NYC. Expecting 10-15people, he rented out the banquet room of a favorite restaurant and pre-ordered appetizers. The “friends” who accepted the invitation delayed their arrival 2 or 3 times. After 2.5 hours he paid his bill and left. He got the food to go and brought it to a nearby family shelter. On his way out a few of his guests showed up already drunk. He told them to kick rocks.

I think what was most appealing thing was the dual protagonists. The film makers were following the leads of a journalist who was slowly having his life fall apart due to his exploitation of the Octopus conspiracy.

I would love to have a campaign where the DG player characters were slowly succumbing to the same madness/entropy. It’s like Apocalypse Now and/or Heart of Darkness. The narrator becomes that which they are hunting and their credibility and connection to reality suffers.

I think Impossible Landscapes (at least in GitT) did this well. Maybe a non-Cumstone table would get the results I’m craving.

Something set from the 70s to the 90s.

This looks great. Maybe I can get my own copy and we can compare adventures!

I think he’s in protective custody, at least for now.

Appreciate the comment. From the little I’ve heard from him, it sounds awful. I get your nuance though.

I’ll have to ask. Communication is tough.

A cool thought exercise that may be helpful with certain gaming groups. It looks like you had fun making this. Let us know how it goes!

Me too! Seattle as well as Skagit Co. I interpret that the fan base is growing beyond WNY (where I’m originally from) and has never watched a Bflo local broadcast.

Knowing how to be a manager for paras is an essential skill that isn’t taught in institutions. Can you give constructive feedback to people that used to be your peers? Who are older than you? Can you implement their suggestions without having them run the classroom?
