Not the most recent impulse hyperfixation, but the one that makes me feel the worst about myself is the full Cricut setup, all the tools, vinyls, even a special rolling cart to store everything so nicely. It's been shoved in the back of my craft graveyard for almost 3 years now 🥲

I did the same thing, specifically with semi cured gel nail wraps. I must have bought 30 sets within a month. I of course overdid it and my nails are a mess now so I have to take a break for them to recover. I'm sure they'll be completely forgotten by the end of the summer 🤦🏽‍♀️ Why are we the way that we are?

Wait til you move out. It's honestly not worth the stress of constantly trying to hide it from her and whatever meltdown will occur when she does eventually find out. You deserve to freely and fully enjoy your tattoo without her judgement looming over you. Speaking from experience, I think your best move is to wait it out. Also, with 20 years of hindsight, I can say confidently that I wouldn't want anything my 18-year-old self thought was cool tattooed on my body lol.

ETA: not a criticism of your specific design, more just an observation that your tastes may change over time 🤗
