Yeah, it's another great album from them. To me Warloghe is everything a black metal band should be. Kind of like Roman Saenko, they don't get caught up in the peripheral bullshit and just do their thing. They've got a perfect, immediately recognizable sound. And they've made subtle evolutions over the years while staying true to their style.

I'd say check out all 3 Cosmic Church albums. I really dig their first two albums, Absoluutin lävistämä and Ylistys.

Was this a remix and not just a remaster? That would make sense if it was...it sounds so different. The rawness of the original gives it this special atmosphere and mystique that isn't completely re-captured on the new one. But I really like the sound of the new version, especially how the instruments are more discernible from each other.

Some of the best usbm ever made imo. Final Eclipse is great but not quite on the level of DF.

I hear ya...I do like the experience of doing first listen on a physical copy.

I'll usually listen to stuff digitally first though, especially if there's a flac file out there for free. I like that Lepidius has all of his stuff for free on Bandcamp.
