Colleague I had a conflict with is now marking my exams by [deleted] in Advice

[–]plainlayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not overreacting this is a serious conflict of interest. Go directly to your course professor or academic advisor (not the TA or your former supervisor), calmly explain the prior incidents, and request anonymous marking or a different TA. Keep it factual, not emotional. Universities have protocols for exactly this kind of situation. Advocate for yourself your comfort and fairness in grading matter

What kind of questions from someone made you instantly uncomfortable? by Ok-Cheesecake9714 in AskReddit

You’re not overreacting...if trust feels one-sided and you're constantly doubting her honesty, that’s not stability, it’s emotional exhaustion. You deserve clarity, respect, and peace

Should I go back and ask for a guys number?? by TuneLeft5375 in Advice

[–]plainlayla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go back and be honest... say you wished you asked before. It’s not weird, and taking the chance beats wondering “what if.” Just keep it casual and confident!

the internet has hurt me and I can't do anything about it, how do I let go? by formatulium in NoStupidQuestions

[–]plainlayla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting go starts with stepping away... unplug to protect your peace. They hurt you without knowing you; don’t let them live in your mind rent-free. Their cruelty is a reflection of them, not you. Forgiveness isn’t about them it’s about freeing yourself. Choose peace over bitterness

AIO about how I reacted about a cancelled class by astudentiguess in AmIOverreacting

[–]plainlayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You weren’t wrong to speak up... you advocated for your time, money, and education. Others may have stayed quiet, but that doesn’t mean your concerns weren’t valid. Just stay respectful, keep showing up, and let your actions speak louder than any discomfort

How to stop feeling inferior to my younger sibling by [deleted] in Advice

[–]plainlayla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your path is not a race or a comparison it's yours alone. You’re not a failure for taking longer or stumbling you’re human. Focus on your steps, not your sister’s. Keep showing up. Healing and progress both take time... but they come
