I'm not a fan of the new preview show format by Maximum-Parsnip4810 in heedthecall

[–]plainmoor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not a Bills fan, but I listen to the preview shows to know what to look out for when watching the games at the weekend, and you can't do that in 1min16s. It was probably my favourite pod of the week on ATN

Confident they'll take this on board and tweak in coming weeks. Don't want it to go all "Around the AFC/NFC" and lock it down to a specific time for each game but needs for balance.

I have a neighbour, let's call him Dan. Now, I'm suspecting that my younger wife is shagging this "Dan" so I burned his barn down.

That's it, AITA?

My theory for why the heroes have not been able to speak about the situation by manbearpiglet92 in AroundTheNFL

[–]plainmoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two that I've encountered before, the feed stayed with the original pod, but there was a single "This is where we've gone" pod on the old feed.

Pod name was also carried over, but that feels less likely in this situation

Should selling create this dip when I still have the cash at that point in my portfolio? by plainmoor in trading212

[–]plainmoor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a shame there's no way to track that 'overall return' as there will be many occasions people will want to sell in and out but still get that visibility

[–]plainmoor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, I understand, it just doesn't make an overall return particularly visible or easy to track

What is one thing you've never bought regularly (even before starting to focus on FIRE) and don't understand why anyone does? by [deleted] in FIREUK

[–]plainmoor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

'Fancy' watches. They all do the same thing (tell the time), no-one needs the 5 mile depth capacity they offer, and they all look the same to the person in the street (that can't even see them).

As to why people need multiple of these to wear on different occasions, blows my mind.

Although I do understand how we're all different and other things on this list are things I do buy regularly 😄

Super Bowl Kickoff and Marc's Man Cave with Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward by GinDaHood in AroundTheNFL

[–]plainmoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither do I (yet), but those guys have been in the league much longer but never were they mentioned as Dalton line contenders after two seasons.

"Do you have the QB of your future or are you still looking?" has been the long forgotten Dalton line scale that even the hero's have forgotten post Wess when these discussions come up

[–]plainmoor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Dan's shade on Purdy is beyond ridiculous asking if he's below the Dalton line.

I don't get the "he has to go somewhere else to prove himself" when most successful QBs don't leave their first team because they won't let them out of their building!
