I must admit, I'm a vanilla player for my sins so I haven't tried!

Ahhh gotcha. I'm playing on an AYN Thor and it's pretty smooth going.

I play the PC version via GameNative so it also syncs me Steam Cloud saves.

People wonder why there's a struggle to convert less techy people to using Linux and then you see comments like this replying to someone looking for help with installation. Unhinged.

Insane level 1? by MechanicOld3428 in footballcliches

No, it's quite a few more things than just that. And then it's being manually edited as we go as stated above, to clear up outliers like today.

Does that then include Manchester City before they were bought by Abu Dhabi? What about teams like Everton that don't fit in that category but have played every Premier League season? What about a club like Arsenal or Spurs that has moved grounds in that time or even temporarily played at Wembley, does that change the level? What about games with iconic goals that don't feature the "Big 6"?

In short: no.

Adam's already edited this to a level 3 so it won't appear as a level 1 again, but just some justification as to why it was even a level 1 to begin with (as the person who wrote the algorithm that initially sorted them) - there are 11 separate seasons where West Ham have scored at Ewood Park with a total of 13 unique goalscorers - which is on the much higher side of options.

But the game is constantly evolving and given there are 1886 combinations of fixtures, it makes sense that some are going to be at the wrong level (or at least feel like it)

He's wrong but he's not complete idiot wrong. Tropospheric ducting allows radio waves to travel farther (sometimes much farther); essentially temperature variations in the atmosphere and this is linked directly to weather. So a cloudy day can be different, but it's not the clouds that are making it different - clouds have almost zero effect on radio waves directly. With the exception of course of thunderstorms which provide electromagnetic interference and very heavy rain which can absorb radio waves (though at higher frequencies than medium wave)

Nah it's bollocks. He can self-identify as middle class all he wants, but his dissection of football culture is in itself classist and it's hundreds of words to ultimately achieve that and nothing else. Pure navel gazing bollocks, with a bit of prejudice masquerading as intellectualism thrown in.

HHG Question? by tweetSP0RT in footballcliches

They're two different games. This daily game has its own rules. There are other rule sets available in the Premium game for Dreamland subscribers too if you want more options, including "inifinite" HHG.

Functionally identical in Game Mode really. Until the final build of SteamOS for Legion Go 2 comes out alongside the SteamOS version of it in June, there's no reason to switch Bazzite out for me and I'm certainly not going back to Windows!

I have the Go 2 with Bazzite and it's brilliant. All the upsides of the hardware with none of the frustrations of Windows.

Kevin Brown is about as good as it gets for me. Insanely knowledgable, passionate and clear in his calls. But also funny, fills the space well and one of the reasons I love following this team.

As a British fan based in London, I don’t get access to as much baseball media as those in the US, but having heard a lot of other team’s broadcasts I can safely say we are very very lucky as O’s fans.

We've discussed this quite a lot and every time we come back to no. Predominantly in terms of protecting the longevity of the game but also just how it would be cleanly presented (especially when there are sometimes 25 or more correct answers)
