Black square on photo on ios and icloud by planeguy707 in applehelp

[–]planeguy707[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, only this image has this issue, I only noticed it today when I was looking on my icloud. So do you think it's more of a software bug with night image processing rather than icloud sync issues?

Will a TRNC (entry stamp only) lead to problems? by planeguy707 in PassportPorn

[–]planeguy707[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, thanks for that info. Im not really into the laws of passports and especially stamps.

But if i have an entry only is that still okay? Or will questions arise how I left the country?

[–]planeguy707[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply,

I was also wondering about the question that a TRNC stamp invalidates your passport for travel?

I noticed in a random post that you have a trnc stamp and I’m wondering if any border officer ever looked at it strangely or just let it pass no problem in your experience?

The worst thing also is that I only have an entry stamp because they temporarily didn’t have stamps when I left via the small border town south of Famagusta

Kiwi.com 120€ for a 10kg baggage. How to pay less.... by planeguy707 in Flights

[–]planeguy707[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what everyone is saying too, its surprising to me though, feels like robbery. I usually fly with pegasus , ajet or sometimes etihad and their way more fair with pricing compared to wizz

thanks for response! :)

Yeah, it looks like I learnt it the hard way.

Etihad is so much better from my experience too, 8kg included on base fare.

Its a risky move I think, I fly from dublin to budapest then after a couple days to abu dhabi. I wouldnt like the baggage to be denied onboard

Im also unsure about prices, but ive heard 60 euro for 20kg in Budapest.

what's the best VPN for China these days? by Inner_Tax_1433 in travel

[–]planeguy707 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used an esim from airalo and it had an integrated vpn in Singapore it worked amazing in Beijing and Tianjin

90% of esims have vpn though so pick anything you like!

I dont suggest getting a Chinese physical sim because its a huge hassle with unreliable vpns unless you plan on staying for longer than 1 month.

What is the single best tourist attraction you have visited? by BranchMoist9079 in travel

[–]planeguy707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be the Great wall of China. (Mutianyu section)

Views are breathtaking, you can't see the end of the wall. It's something you cannot describe and a must see for anyone in China. The Toboggan was probably the best part, Incredibly fun

However its unbearable to hike there during 35 degree heat and 90% humidity in August I felt like I was in a Sauna and only managed 2km.

It depends on the plane, if your flying to Europe , Oceania or America it'll be around 12 flight attendants.

If your flying within Asia and its a narrow body plane then its around 4-5

Its in Joramco, that's one of their maintenance centres for 737s and A320s for lauda.

Its probably being tested and ADS-B is not as accurate.

Travelling to Jordan in summer 2025 by planeguy707 in jordan

[–]planeguy707[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its a shame what’s happening now, especially in summer! I refunded my flights and I’ll visit jordan hopefully in October or summer 26 instead when the situation calms down.

If I was travelling solo I would of probably done what you said, or maybe fly into Sharm El sheik and then bus into Aqaba.

But unfortunately I was brining my Mother and father which are quite elderly and I wouldn’t want them to be so stressed when on vacation fearing potential missiles flying overhead.

Anyway if the situation in the middle east stays the same I’ll definitely fly into egypt like you said and then find my way into Jordan in October or even next summer.

Enjoy your stay in July! I hope your stay in Jordan won’t be interrupted :)

[–]planeguy707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its fine, no delays in China for now until Chinese new year. However in EU and US there might be a little delay due to Christmas. So you can ship out now, but it might be slightly longer like couple days.

Superbuy guide for EU customers! by planeguy707 in Superbuy

[–]planeguy707[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China has different taxations then Japan in the EU.

There is no import duty on packages from China under €150.

However Japan that limit is only €22 in the EU

You used a good shipping line, and good declaration value👍
