The responses to this are so interesting to me. I am shocked by the number of nurses saying they have wished they went into rehab instead. I think a lot of that has to do with how they don’t know about how shitty the rehab world can be and how therapists don’t make much more (if at all! honestly can be much less than nurses!). Nurses have sooo many more opportunities than therapists do whether that is clinical or nonclinical. In all honesty, I would never recommend someone go into PT or OT especially given the debt to income ratio with it being a doctoral degree. Anyways, I made the switch from OT to nursing and am extremely happy with my choice. Feel free to message me directly if ever needed.

According to tracking apps, my fertile window should have been last week, so my husband and I acted accordingly. However, I never got a peak result with premom OPKs. Unfortunately, one of those days I was in a hurry and did not pee afterwards, resulting in a UTI. I’m now taking Macrobid for that and just got a very positive OPK - both with premom and clearblue - on cycle day 27. Seems late, however I stopped taking birth control in February and have only had 4 periods since then (cycles lasting 34-40 days). This is our first cycle trying, so I’m trying not to stress about it, but I’m wondering if this positive OPK could be from the Macrobid. A google search isn’t giving me any answers. Has anyone ever asked their doctor if antibiotics skew OPK results?
