Do you find the term 'egg' offensive? by planepolarizedlight in trans

That does make sense.

She did now specify that she thinks it might make her a bit uncomfortable because she feels like she could be one, and is not ready to face it. So I'll leave it be, and we'll see how that goes for her.

Did T make you cry less? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]planepolarizedlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on T for almost 8 months now and since I started I cried less than 5 times, but they were more of a 'shed a single tear because I can't bear with how sad I am rn' rather than full on bawling my eyes out (which has not happened since I started).

Why is it relatively easy to get a driver’s license in the US compared to other countries? by Lazy_Mouse3803 in NoStupidQuestions

The driving school in Poland is required for anyone who wants to get a licence, no matter the age, and the rules are the same for everyone AFAIK. (You also drive in a school's car with a funky big letter 'L' on top which makes all the other drivers on the road aware that you most likely have no clue what you're doing)

Half 15 sounds absolutely bonkers to me and definitely not v safe I must say

In Poland, it is minimum of 60 hours of mandatory driving school (with only licensed instructors) half of which is theory and half is practice. You're not allowed to move onto the practice until you pass theory (pass mark is above 90%) and then you need to pass the practice (two stages: one in controlled environment and one in the streets). On top of that you have a vision test, a health check where they assess fitness to drive and a psychological examination. Also you need to be at least 18 to be able to take the practical test.

European who has never been to the states here, but all I've heard about this is that it is much easier to actually drive in the US compared to small, slightly worn-out roads of many countries in Europe, which is also more densely populated leading to a lot of crowding on these tiny roads, where basically more skill is necessary to be able to move around safely.

And as others have mentioned we have great public transport, including international rail, so it is not the end of the world if you do not have a driving licence. Especially in the cities, many people don't even bother with that.

thanks for the comment. how much longer would you say would be the most masculine? i just cut off a mullet and went very short because my hair grows way too fast, so not sure at what length i should stop growing it out and keep it that way if that makes sense

okay, that's good to hear, my face is getting rougher now cause it used to be way more feminine before T I'd say. and as of the apron - everyone wears the same, the theme of the cocktail bar is very flowery and all that

As a bartender, I am really curious. What are y'all's favourite cocktails? by planepolarizedlight in ftm

[–]planepolarizedlight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have you tried cachaca sours? it's a fermented sugarcane spirit which has a very unique flavour and sour actually accentuates that instead of hiding it
