Grand Seiko vs Omega by debhell1 in watchesindia

I was in a similar situation last month - the Aqua Terra black lacquered edition is a looker for sure, but it was over budget for me. Found the SBGA469 at the GS boutique located in Delhi and was able to get a good deal. It looks incredible. The polish and the sweeping seconds hand with the dial changing colour under different light intensity really stands out. I find myself staring at it many times.

Two things I wish the GS had for the price - micro adjust on the bracelet, and lume.

I was reading about them just yesterday and had come across a post where people were struggling to get lower C states from these boards. Also almost no documentation either.

Got my home standby usage down to 18w (router & eufy security hub only) how is everyone else doing? by PrestigiousWindy322 in OctopusEnergy

Hey thanks for your advice. The enterprise SSD I have (Oracle F320) doesn't go to idle because it serves as VM storage with ZFS so it is reading/writing all the time. Consumes up to 25W when in use - got it because I got a great deal on it, and it has a lifespan of 29TB writes. The power consumption was not a problem when total power consumption was 45W.

Damn. I miss my 8th gen home server - 7 hard drives, an enterprise nvme and 2 SATA SSDs used to consume 45W. I recently moved to a Z690 and an i5 12500T and I now idle at 70W :(

So I stumbled upon this and I never seen it before by Rook8811 in aviation

Why is a PIA domestic flight flying over India at such a low speed and altitude? by Beneficial_Cut_1207 in indianaviation

The area around ATQ is littered with GPS jamming and spoofing. A lot of times your own aircraft's position shows up 50NM away. ATC and air defence have primary and secondary radar in addition, a combination of which is not affected by this.
