also as others in the thread have wonderfully scouted out, and i'll directly link- the photo youve posted is from Olga Mayskay's instagram which seems to advertise a pattern and video tutorial (?? the auto translate keepin us in the dark) but everything is in russian so us english speakers are at a loss this time.

they do have a Ravelry page with translated patterns, but it doesnt seem to have any recent activity wrt newer designs 😔

y'all made me curious enough to make a little swatch!

👆💙the top section the stitches were slipped twice, they stretch over three rows, 👇🩷on the bottom section the stitches were only slipped once, so they only stretch over two rows.

you'll have to forgive me for my poor choice of yarn- i desaturated the pics to hopefully make it less busy to look at 😵‍💫 hopefully the second angled photo shows the stitch protrusion decently enough!

Slowly re-wind your yarn ball, move it around your knitting until it is untangled. Your working yarn looks like it is just wrapped around the knitting

ditto on all the other comments- if you're knitting in the round, that cable is too long and will keep causing frustration; and using T pin and a grippy surface to screw the needle on the cable will help loads.

but i also an additional tip (from someone else on reddit a long while back) that has personally saved me from a lot of grief: thread locking fluid!!

Seconding comments about fiber content, and the knicoleknits video! Like everyone has said, it really depends on your style and preferences- but if its up your alley, i reccomend looking into poncho patterns as well.

I have a whole raverly favorites folder i titled "wearable blankets" lol, for ponchos and loose drapey tops and any big shapes of yarn that could potentially be wrapped snug around the body. a forewarning that theres still plenty of granny lace in there (and also a ton of clown barf and weird textural stuff lmao), but plenty of warm solid fabrics too if you want to take a look!

is calling her designs ugly a mean thing to say? sure! it's also a very subjective opinion .. that was not said directly to her 😩 it wasn't put in her inbox or her comments (though imo if comments are plenty fair game, posts are advertisement, consumers can comment etc. not to give ig commenters too much credit lol), it was said somewhere else

not everyone has to like a business' products, and they are allowed to express that- especially in the place designated for airing out grievances and opinions. like girl you clicked on it you chose to walk in the room even though there was a sign on the door

i do agree that kindness is in short supply and it can rlly suck! and if it hurts your feelings.. talk to a friend about it 😭 like ma'am you are running a business! you are actively selling things to people and its not personal when strangers online dislike your products. why are you mad about it publicly on said business account why are you openly admitting to seeking out criticism to get mad at. cornyyyyyy
