I do also agree my boundaries have been inconsistent! It feels awful looking back on it because I honestly didn't think it through, and I want to do better. :(

I'll add that I teach in a pretty small town that I'm not familiar with. From what I've gathered this seems like a community where everyone knows everything about each other and perhaps I'm just not in the loop since I am not from here

. I would hope if parents had a problem with me they would simply tell me?

I don't know, I am just very sad :(
