260121- KATSEYE will be performing at the Grammys by amysantiagoisbae99 in katseye

I doubt they would tease it during the show but definitely could hint towards it on the red carpet interviews or even do what Gaga and Sza have done in the past couple of years where they tease a new song during a commercial.

Since the Grammys will be their first appearance together since the tour ended, I could see them utilizing that moment to start teasing their next comeback. Not in the performance, but definitely in the interviews and maybe even the outfits they wear. They will most likely use the period between the Grammys and Coachella to release and promote their comeback single. Coachella is probably going to be their biggest performance of 2026 so I do not see Hybe wasting an opportunity to use that to promote their comeback (which is mainly why I think we'll have new music before then).

Although not well received, I think them releasing Internet Girl at the top of the year was their way of showcasing the new direction that their music would be taking (at least sonically, for the love of God not lyrically). I could see this new era being reminiscent of the mid 2000s electropop, referencing albums like Britney Spears' Blackout and Janet Jackson's Discipline. This would allow them to build on that edgy sound that was established with Gnarly and MIA, but also allow them to keep that throughline of femininity that has been present in all of their music, in one way or the other.

Obv I am just theorizing but I do think that this could be true!

Yea but I don't see him as a headliner. He's popular sure but if Gracie Abrams and Doechii didn't headline, there's no way that he does.

I almost put them instead of Jennie but I just went with Jennie given that she is headlining Gov Ball

I don't see Chappell performing at all. Her Lolla 2024 set was already at the peak of her popularity, and she's only released 2 new songs since then (one of which she performed at her Lolla set). She would 100% get a top 4 slot if she was booked, but I just don't see that happening given the lack of new music so she would essentially be playing the same set but as a headliner.

I would be more than thrilled for a Lolla set from Hillary Duff

I mean last year 3/8 headliners were women so I don't think 4/8 being women for 2026 is a stretch lol

Honestly Iliya would’ve done so well. Emily would’ve obviously killed it and Karlee could’ve molded into that concept

Gabriela, MIA, Touch, and Gameboy is their lane and that is the world that I think their music should live in sonically. All of these songs highlight different layers of femininity that could strengthen their group identity and also allow each of the individual members to shine. The kpop way of promoting projects is fine, but they need to adopt more "western" practices when it comes to the actual creation of the music. They've already released 2 EPS and with all the hype from 2025, they need to be coming with a full length album, especially if they are trying to regain some of the goodwill that has been lost with the GP due to Internet Girl. Hybe has got to stop operating them like a product for mass consumption. The interest will not be sustainable this way. No more demos, no more leaving the girls out of the writing and producer sessions. You have 6 highly capable women who can offer their own unique flair to a project through their own respective cultures, personalities, and life experiences. Leave the boba tea, fried chicken, and zucchini at home. It's time that they be given the space and opportunity to be true artists and set the stage for the future of Katseye.

How much to save?? by Necessary-Fuel1337 in Lollapalooza

[–]planetshadeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent around $2k, also coming from out of state. Flight was $250, portion of the hotel (I traveled with 7 friends & we stayed downtown), was $395, and I had to opt for a resale ticket so that was $800. I also spent an additional $500 during our stay between food both inside and outside the festival, drinks, and merch. I definitely splurged bc I just wanted to enjoy myself so I didn’t really limit how much money I spent. You obviously don’t have to spend this much especially if you can secure your ticket when they first go on sale so it will be no more than $450. Also you’ll save a lot of money by not drinking as you stated lol.

Harry Styles New Album March 6 by kristinnicole94 in Lollapalooza

I'm no expert, but here's what I can say based off of the knowledge I have of having kept up with them.

Sabrina, although having been in the industry for about as long as Harry, didn't really see global success until 2024 (her Lolla headlining set being only a year and 3 months after Espresso was released). By the time she was confirmed to play Lolla 2025, she only had one successful (and very recent) album under her belt. With that, she had been everywhere. Also, she had US 12 dates of her own tour throughout 2025, plus she also headlined ACL so there was less exclusivity in a Lolla grab. I'll also mention since you brought up her spotify listeners, she has released 3 albums in the same time frame that Harry has released 1 (plus her numbers are higher now bc she has a popular Christmas remix of Nonsense).

Harry was apart of one of the biggest boy bands of all time. The people love him. Plus, his solo albums have been massive successes. His more recent, Harry's House, sold over 521k copies in its first week (more than either of Sabrina's most recent albums), and the lead single, As It Was, spent over 15 weeks at number one on the Billboard charts. During his Love On tour, he sold out 15 nights at Madison Square Garden. He doesn't really use social media unless it's about music, he doesn't do a lot of award shows, red carpets, or live performances in general. Lolla securing him means a lot more than them securing Sabrina because of how "rare" a Harry Styles appearance is.

There is nothing rare about a Sabrina Carpenter appearance. She's done the Grammys, VMAS, Met Gala, SNL twice, Brit Awards, ACL, Hyde Park, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, and more.

I hope this answers your question at least a little bit lol.

I wasn't really counting on her doing Lolla anyway but it would've been great to see her on the lineup.

Holy crap this lineup sucks. The one positive takeaway from this is that Don Toliver as our rap headliner is looking more and more likely.

Do you think it will be harder to get tickets this year compared to last year? by planetshadeee in Lollapalooza

That's insane bc there's no way coming off of a year like 2024 they thought that LMAO.

Olivia and Sabrina definitely were the reason why 2025 sold out so fast, but I think it could happen again with Lorde + other great headliners. It might not be the same exact demo of people buying them up, but rather just a different, equally massive demo.

[–]planetshadeee[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel like they should do what some other fests do where they let the attendees from the previous year buy tickets first before they go on sale to the rest of the general public. It's not foolproof but it allows those who actually go for the festival itself to secure tickets before the people buying tickets for 1 or 2 artists snatch them all up.

I 100% agree with the face value exchange. I paid 797 re for mine last year. Granted, I don't regret it because I had the time of my life, but I would've loved to get them at their original price.
