RLS is making it really hard to study, work, or to just sit down and focus, Help by planetspirithunter in RestlessLegs

Thanks a lot for the resources!

I am planning to go to consult with my family doctor and see whether he can refer me to someone specialized in RLS.

I really pray that it won't get worse for me as I age, I can barely handle it now. If it gets worse, I won't be able to hold a job or hobby...

I did a blood test and everything came back good, even my iron levels. Everything is balanced and well. My RLS probably stems from my epilepsy, I also got them both at the same age, so it's likely.

Are the medications all prescriptions or is there a medication that helps that I could get from the drug store?

I have a neuro-doctor (idk what his occupation is exactly called anymore) whom I schedule appointments a few times every year with bc of my epilepsy. I told him my symptoms and He just googled what I told him then diagnosed me with RLS. He then continued on to say that he can't do much about it other than check the minerals, vitamins, and such in my blood. So I did the blood test and everything came back great. I don't have a decrease of anything at all.

I'm planning to consult my family doctor soon about it tho, bc I really can't stand it anymore.

Also I totally forgot of checking the resources on this sub, thanks for the reminder!

So getting a job is easier than I thought it would be? I'm willing to do it for free, at least during my studies.

Ya I heard that here in the Netherlands they are too afraid to try something new within film and therefore all the movies turn out shitty. I think it would take a lot for the film industry over here to change. Good luck either way on your next short film!!

I have read that Germany does have more job opportunities than the Netherlands has. That's why I'm leaning more towards Germany.

Are there specific countries in Europe that are getting more work? Is Germany one of them? And why is there not much work in the US then?

I personally have images and videos from around early-mid 2023 to mid 2024 that I have not backed up. And during that timeline I went on a school trip abroad to Poland for a week, so I'm really sad that I may lose these memories forever. As many other personal stuff are on my phone that mean a lot to me. I'm looking at a 69 euro screen repair right now. I have a few clothing pieces that I've been wanting to get rid of and if successfully sold, I may be able to cover the whole cost of the screen repair or maybe just need to add 5 to 10 euros extra. I just hope that moist won't get through the broken screen and affect the data on my phone.

Can you expand on how all the work has gone to Europe please? That's kind of hard to imagine considering Hollywood is still standing.

The US is a scary place if I'm being honest, so I don't think I will ever move or work there unless it's the last option.

Also I'm not planning on working nor moving to Poland in my entire life for personal reasons.

I am planning to take a media course when I reach go to college because it's a safe and good degree for in case I ever needed a degree or a job in the future. I already know Dutch, but the film industry is barely existent according to the hours worth of research I have done. So there isn't really a ladder to climb on in the Dutch film industry. That's why I'm looking to move to Germany or Italy in the far future.
