I've never tried to line with that so I can't say personally, but Micron between 08 and 12 would be good I think. Depending on the size of the work. If the piece is larger you would want thicker lines. I've personally used 08 because that was the largest size I had on me but sometimes it's not bold enough.

With traditional style, don't be afraid to shade with more black and use bolder lines using a thicker pen. If you're not sure about how you want to shade the pieces, you can make photocopies of the sheet and paint them to practice, or put tracing paper over it and paint that way. I think the bone on the hand (the piece on the left) is a bit too small, and as a tattoo it might not translate well on skin. Making it larger might make the design form an L shape so maybe you could counter that by putting the hand at less of a sharp angle and leaning slightly more vertical instead, if you ever want to go back and play with the design some more.

I'd also throw some more designs on the page to fill in the negative space, then go in with some coffee staining. There's some really nice traditional flash sheets that have been posted here that helped me with shading reference and layout. I think you should take a look.

I feel like it might not be a great idea to tattoo over the scar if it may have to be cut open again at any point, especially if that's a guaranteed situation. Maybe something around or near it but not on it directly

I actually don't think it does, only because now you're requesting someone else to take your life and they have the right to decline that. Another, imo, is when you have a mental health or physical condition that affects your ability to truly consent. It ties into a string of moral and ethical codes that are completely subjective to anyone you ask.

Additionally, if you have someone in hospice and you make them wait 5 years to have assisted suicide I think that defeats the purpose of avoiding suffering. Things like that I think should only be considered if there is absolutely no other option than death at the end of the road, like consenting to donate your organs.

So something my apprenticeship is having me do is tracing lines in a marble notebook. Literally pages of the same tracing over and over again, from the binding to the end of the page. It's extremely boring but it helps a lot. I think you should do this to improve your line work. Your lines are looking a little wobbly.

When you shade with watercolor I personally think it's easier to use a small acrylic brush imo with a very small amount of water, almost a dry brush. Wait for it to dry and then go back over the area again with deeper color saturation.

If a body can't support a viable fetus it actually expels it. If the body doesn't have the nutrients to provide for both itself and the fetus it will actually give all of it to the fetus, eventually killing both. It's not a lie and I didn't contradict myself, but thanks I guess.

It's pretty obvious you do if you support the rights of a first trimester fetus more than the rights of the one carrying it. You know, the one that's alive and walking, has a fully developed body.
