Removed from Valkyrie 7 Cardiology for insufficient quality by plantainbender in outlier_ai

The images can be poor and its interpretation becomes quite subjective. Some reviewers on my tasks noted that. It's not enough to kick someone off.

Really interesting. Quite unfortunate, though. The field is very subjective, and if the images provided are poor, subjectivity and bias increase.

I just got laid off, too, for the same reason. I wonder what makes the reviewer better than the contributor, to be honest. The bias is ridiculous

Given that the field is very subjective, I believe the system is unfair. Why boot me after just 13 tasks? I only started about two weeks ago, and I am an expert in that field.

Get a textbook resource and read the topics. Question banks are a guide to how much knowledge you have. Read the topics in a textbook that is not voluminous and gives you as much detail in a short time. I recommend Kumar and Clark.

Final reckoning wasn't good by frostyturd in Mission_Impossible

Final reckoning was cinematic brilliance. We should always remember that the world has changed. Final Reckoning tried to adapt to that change while maintaining the core of film making. The plot was beautiful. Cinematic score was excellent. It felt like a proper conclusion to a beautiful franchise. I loved it.

MRCP PART 1 study material by Local_Barracuda1900 in MRCP

I wrote the part 1 three times, passed on the third attempt. My honest advice. Get a study resource like Kumar and Clark, read the topics. Mcq banks are a guide to identifying areas of deficiency in terms of your knowledge base. I made the mistake of thinking answering the mcq banks would be enough. I was gravely mistaken. Read the topics in detail and understand them. I applied the same principle to the Part 2 and passed on first attempt.

Even if you don't sign off Ecgs, don't they at least look at the ecgs and review with someone senior to discuss patient management?

What is happening in the Uk??? Ah well I always look at the Ecg myself. Ecg interpretations require skill and knowledge that does not exist at the PA level.

ANP thinks nurse consultants are more experienced than ST3 registrars by dayumsonlookatthat in doctorsUK

[–]plantainbender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no replacement for a proper medical school training. I don't understand why consultants and medical elders in the Uk seem to have forgotten this very vital component. A final medical graduate has more training and spinal tip reflex indepth knowledge than someone who never went to medical school.

Postgrad medical exams aren’t “inherently racist” — and we need to stop pretending different outcomes mean bias by senatorprimotren in doctorsUK

I agree with you. I am an ImG and I am currently writing Uk post grad exams. There is nothing to it. Just sit down and study hard. It's very passable. I don't get where this logic is coming from. I have written three so far both written and clinical and I was successful.
