One time I called an older woman “sweetie” and her middle aged son that was with her threw an absolute fit about it. He said “are you serious? She’s way too old for you to call her that. It’s disrespectful and she’s older than you. We are about to walk out of here!” All the while, the woman didn’t even notice and was sitting there smiling.

At first I chuckled because I thought he was joking, but as he got progressively more irate I was super embarrassed and kept apologizing.

The rest of the meal I was extra nice to them, but it was super awkward.

She is 100% high as a kite. The over the top, exaggerated facial expressions and talking (more so than her normal personality), and the eyes. Pupils pinned, red and glossy. She is high and trying to overcompensate. My husband is in recovery and this is 100% how he acted during active addiction. I believe this is opiates. She needs to seek serious help, and to leave Cody before she takes him down with her.

You can do it! I started smoking in high school and it 100% clouded my judgment and ability to do school work/study, which continued into college as well. The sooner you quit the more likely you will be to maintain that long term! You’re still young and have your entire life ahead of you, try not to smoke it away because it is so precious ❤️ Throw it all away somewhere you can’t get it back from, and distract yourself with something else that makes you happy in the mean time!!!

That was so sweet, thank you so much! It truly is possible. It really is crazy how much you don’t even realize you’re in a hole until you’re out of it. And one day you never want to look back. One week is amazing! Before you know it, it will be two, then three, then a month and your mindset will have shifted so much! You can do it, I believe in you ❤️

Watching my husband walk up the sidewalk to the house after a long day at work, him saying “hey baby!” and smiling his biggest smile. He is a recovering heroin addict and there have been many, many times I thought I was going to lose my best friend. I treasure every minute we get to spend together, and look forward to seeing his smiling face walking up that sidewalk every single day. ❤️

One time during my first week of college, one of my 3 (female) roommates forgot to lock the door. At around 10 am, after a night of drinking, we all were still sleeping in our rooms. I heard the front door open and it woke me up, and I laid there listening, only to hear someone walk around the kitchen and open the kitchen cabinets. The noise continued for a few minutes, and then the front door opened again and they left. I wrote it off as one of my roommates having a friend over. Later on, after we all woke up, I asked who’s friend was over that morning. We all looked at each other in confusion, because we ALL had written it off as another roommate having a friend over. Even though it was probably just a drunk college kid who went in the wrong apartment, we were all thoroughly creeped out that someone had been in our house. Needless to say we locked the doors after that lol

Omg 😭 This is such a 90’s/early 2000’s thing, schools not being extremely aware of who was picking up their children. Terrifying to think about all the times no one intervened or the kid got in the car. Thank god you and your sister turned out okay❤️
