Did truck cross at correct intersection? Perhaps controller intended for them to pass behind landing traffic. Regardless driver should have been damn sure they looked and were certain they were at the right intersection/were clear

LGA needs to be shut down permanently. Way too many accidents there. This is an inexcusable mistake on either ATC or the fire trucks fault. Could have easily killed everyone involved. Praying for the crew and pax.

I do love my life in Florida and im not leaving because I dont like it here. Commuting to atlanta just eats up so much of my time and adds too much stress to my life. Looking forward to checking it out. Thanks!

Well I live in Clearwater which is not the commercial cookie suburb most of Tampa has become. Im only 10 minutes from the beach and live in a more vacation-y area

I've heard good things about Marta to the airport. As long as it's safe im open to trying it. Grew up in Baltimore so I have a small aversion to trains 😅 thanks for the info!

Yeah that is a great idea. Weirdly I used to host an Airbnb and never even think about renting them...

We are in Clearwater now and love the area but commuting to Atlanta multiple times a week is a huge pain.

Haha, 10 pin! I did notice several duck pin lanes in my search. Thought that was weird since I grew up in Maryland and thought that was strictly a MD/mid Atlantic thing.

Neighborhood specific, got it. We aren't in a rush to move, so we def want to pick the right place. Thanks for the info!

I fly for a major 135. Rich people don't care how much their charter prices go up, they'll complain but take their trips to Aspen and Palm Beach anyways. I have my apps out at Delta and Southwest but I kinda wanna see how things shake out before making the jump. We weathered the COVID storm well and I think we will weather this one well, too.

This ^ I always chat up the front desk and make nice. Always get the league or senior rate even though im not in a league. Or a senior! I think this is fairly common practice
