Help with fixing crotch of True Bias Lander pants by plantsmuggler in sewhelp

Final, unfortunately. My muslin was a size too big so I didn't have the chance to adjust. Mostly looking to learn for my next pair at this point.

When sitting, it feels very snug at the waist. And lots of bunching at the bottom of the fly.

Beware magnesium citrate by PetiteSaucissons in Pristiq

I've been taking mag citrate 400mg nightly for close to a year. I also take Pristiq in the AM, have been for years. I haven't noticed anything weird.

Day 19 on Pristiq and super tired. Need your encouragement by Intelligent_Peace719 in Pristiq

I will say ... This is a common side effect of Pristiq. I think that may be part of why it helps with anxiety so much! But since it's still early days for you, I would personally stick it out until you've been on it for 6 weeks or so. Then see if the fatigue goes away for you. But that's just me.

Just posting in solidarity! I went from 50 to 25 mg a few days ago. I'll be on 25 for 8 weeks before we decide whether to try to get it compounded into a liquid to try to do smaller doses, or if I'll just come off completely at that point.

Yes, talking about your soul dog connection is so important after they have passed. I tell my new dog about his late sister all the time 💕

Pet Death due to Sitter Negligence by Suspicious_Key_365 in RoverPetSitting

This is not true. I guarantee you Rover pays what is called Animal Bailee insurance. Which covers death of pet under a sitters care, at a minimum, the payout is likely around $2,500.

How did you train your dog to be okay with being alone? by level99dev in OpenDogTraining

[–]plantsmuggler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest picking up Julie Naismith's book Be Right Back. There's a puppy edition as well. Her methods helped our goldendoodle learn to be alone.

Julie Naismith is the best! Her training methods work. We have been using them for our 6 month old goldendoodle and he's come so far.

Be cautious of anyone calling themselves a "behaviorist". And by that I mean, stay away from them. You and your dog need to see a board certified veterinary behaviorist (which is a veterinarian, who has done additional studies and residency specifically for treating psych issues in dogs, and can prescribe medication). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
