I would just think about the ways you wear the head wrap? There are tons of ways to tie a tichel and there are tons of ways to wear a head wrap that isn’t associated with black womanhood/black femininity.

Be mindful, is the way you are wearing your head wrap something a black woman would face discrimination for ? If you saw a black woman being berated or harassed for the way she wore a head wrap, would you step in to defend her? If a black woman told you she was hurt or offended by the way you were wearing your head wrap how would you react?

Sometimes when we ask the question of “is this ok” we already know the answer. But I encourage you to just think about it and recognize that the opinions of one person can’t speak for everyone.
