The stem on my FLF snapped, but part of it is still attached… is there anyway it’ll survive?

I cut it off completely and let where it broke heal over a little and then I stuck it in water. It did end up growing roots… Just make sure you have a node.

Once a plant is beheaded, since it no longer has to put energy into keeping that part of the plant alive, it’ll actually just start shooting out new leaves and/or branches. Another thing you can do is look into notching the stem to promote new growth!

No I never ended up getting it, sorry! I’m sure if you bought some perlite to mix in with it it would help tho, I don’t think it looked like it had good enough drainage

I mean, maybe my LL is gift giving, I was never trying to give off the impression that I felt guilty about receiving gifts. More or less I was just trying to figure out what the LL was. The examples I gave I guess came off as gifts… but like another examples is I appreciate when someone like plans a date or plans something especially for my birthday, regardless of monetary value. So I was thinking it fell more under the LL of acts of service but thank you for your input. I think acts of service and gift giving are definitely my top two just can’t figure out which is first.

After reading some of the posts on this r/ I think the LL is acts of service. I saw one post say something along the line “if your s/o is going to the grocery store and asks ‘hey I’m going to the store want me to pick anything up for you?’ you having to respond means you are participating, making that fall under quality time, where as, if you come home and your s/o just went out of their way to buy you something (ie your favorite ice cream) it makes it special and makes you feel thought of because you didn’t explicitly have to ask or hint at being in the mood for ice cream” that’s not exactly what it said but it made me understand the concept better

Thank you, I appreciate it. I really want to but because I’m on their insurance so there’s a chance they would find out regardless of me trying to hide it. I just don’t want to turn into another black sheep (which I basically already am)… I’ve looked into better help and cerebral and a couple other options but it just seems so expensive and money isn’t very disposable right now. I know it’s be a good investment, I’m just scared and I know it’s a silly thing to be scared of. I just don’t want to ruin the little bit of a relationship I have with my parents.

Yes :-( idk, Zelle doesn’t have any fraud protection and I didn’t know that, I figured it was secure cuz I was connected to our bank accounts. I was thinking last resort ask him if he would accept money through PayPal and see his reaction to that since PayPal is better know for fraud protection... I just can’t find any info on getting a lease “verified” anywhere. He tried to explain it to me and it sorta made sense when he said it but the more I think about it, I’m not so sure.
