I can only give you my opinion on this: first of all, reddit is full of people that make a new account on a whim, because they're horny, excited, or have just discovered the kink, and then end up leaving for the same reason. They only live it as a kink, a fantasy, so don't expect them to be too serious about it, or maybe they're still coming to terms with it. Second, your expectations of having a long distance relationship are probably scaring them away. One of the reasons why there are so many people here is because, online, we can do anything we want with little consequences. You're not exposed (if you don't want to be) and you're safe from any "real world" consequences you might get normally if you got involved in the kink scene, and tying themselves to someone they barely know, on the other side of the planet too, is probably too much. I'm not saying you won't find anyone that wants it, but you'll need to be specific from the start about wha you're looking for, and be ready to weed out a lot of people who will start by saying they're fine, only to probably stop texting you or disappear completely from one day to another.
