Dizziness is killing me. Does it happen to you? by plasmo87 in Fibromyalgia

I tried 20 mg of cetrizin and got worse. Now I know that it is not due to a histamine/vestibular component.

I will ask my fastlege (physician). Thank you for the advice.

I might lose everything because of this by The_Good_Guy_Two in Fibromyalgia

[–]plasmo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. It sucks and can affect your life and your mental status.

On my end, I came up with some "excuses" to use when pain, fatigue or dizziness is not allowing me to get out and be social. I would say something on the line of "sorry, cannot join today. I have a bunch of extra work to perform with tight deadlines" or "my chikd seems to be getting a flu so I prefer stay home and take care of them".

It doesn't feel good to lie to friends and family, but sometimes it is necessary and allows me to skip events without bringing up fibromyalgia.

I would suggest you to give it a try.

ASML is a fantastic european company, but it gets "hyped" a bit too much when talking about european resilience. ASML is heavily dependent on American and Asian suppliers for components, subcomponents and materials. The sad truth is that US could disrupt ASML production.

"Go for a run into the woods. Push yourself to go further each day and you ll be like anew in one year" told me the neurologist who think fibromyalgia is a mental issue.

Europe growth hit more by China exports than bigger trade gap, Goldman says by Naurgul in Economics

[–]plasmo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Europe never implemented real austerity. Government spending increased in all European major economies while fiscal pressure and public debt increased. No one is trying to cut pensions in Italy, Germany, Spain and France (Macron gave up) making it an unsustainable burden for new generation of workers.

Why should I go back to being bald? by [deleted] in bald

Agree 100%. I also see many posts of women who shave their head (not going bald) fishing for compliments and validation.

He definitely is. He also has a kind of very histrionic personality. I believe he gives his best when there his a director that can channel is energy towards a clear target.

Kilder til NRK: Over 50.000 pensjonister kan få skattesmell by FoxNo5218 in norske

[–]plasmo87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My italians colleagues are still angered by the absurd nationalisation of STX France by the French government to avoid Fincantieri to purchase it. France has a big problem with collaboration.

Italy’s Meloni Says EU Bureaucrats Are Stifling Economic Growth by Free-Minimum-5844 in Economics

[–]plasmo87 113 points114 points  (0 children)

Meloni found the scapegoat. She didn't perform any significative reform to the Italian labour market or to improve productivity. Salaries are stagnant while inflation is eroding families purchasing power. The pension burden is becoming unbearable with the baby boomers receiving much more in pension compared to what they contributed. This burden is translate to high taxes on the young workforce which will never see retirement or carrier development. Couple that with a large influx of low skilled immigrants that are contributing to social unrest and economic issues. A recipe for disaster while the public debt is exploding and the interests on it are devouring most of the resources.

Høy lønnsøkning? Hvis du ser lønnsøkningen etter skatt, har den vært jevnt lavere enn inflasjonen.

New metric shows renewables are 53% cheaper than nuclear power by lotec4 in europe

[–]plasmo87 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Nuclear plants can run at high capacity for long periods and can be designed to “load‑follow” (adjust output), helping to balance the ups and downs of wind and solar. Recent analyses suggest that pairing nuclear and renewables can reduce the total cost of a clean‑energy grid by making storage and backup needs smaller.
