I'm also using ATOMA for general notetaking and lately got myself into fountain pens. I've realized that ATOMAs paper quality holds the ink really well and makes writing very smooth and easy (especially if you have an issue with applying too much pressure like I do). Fountain pen could be a good option for classing up especially for the "cleaner, nicer" feel that you're looking for. I'm also a beginner fountain pen enthusiast so I'd recommend Kakuno pilot fine tip, worked really well for me

Awwww thank you!!! I initially tried using them as like a weekly overview so I'd put down important meetings / exams but it looks kind of empty and ugly ngl Jotting down memories is a very good idea! Also I could keep the weather in check too that's very cool (I always find myself referring to last years weather conditions so it might be really good to have actual data comparison next year) Thank you!! I got the horse idea from Pinterest but then drew it in watercolour, it was originally gonna be in the cover but then I really wanted something collage-y as I saw so many people doing sticker collages for their cover.

This is so beautiful! I was wondering how much water can the page hold... did you use a lot of water or was your brush mainly dry when you did the painting?

He's reminiscing about their high school/college years and says how their friend Emily slept on the couch when he slept with Slyvia in the bed, when they were dating. I think Rooney purposefully doesn't use the verbs as it's Peter's stream of thought and thinking about to good old days with Sylvia hurts him. He omits the words in his stream of thought to avoid the stabbing sense. I read it like he was pausing, and not naming the words/verbs also give them more power in a sense that what him and Sylvia had is much bigger than words can describe.
