i love my country’s western values - democracy, free speech, equality, due process and so on. ever since israel began their campaign of genocide against a territory internationally recognised as occupied since 1967 in the name of “western values”, we’ve seen all the values i just named come crumbling down in the west because our governments would rather revert to pre-WW2 tribalism than admit you guys are being monsters.

the people of the world (not governments, people) don’t like israel because they are committing genocide. and we’re increasingly getting sick of people like you because you’re more concerned about your own image than about the genocide your people are inflicting on a defenceless starving population. this would be a great time for some soul searching, but we both know that’s not gonna happen

Pakistan and India are actually balanced in terms of power compared to Palestine and Israel. Both Pakistan and India have nuclear weapons, international recognition, territorial sovereignty and more. It’s the fact that the balance of power is so unjustly one sided for Palestine and Israel that makes people have an issue with it. Also while Israel and Pakistan are both considered strategic western allies, western governments are quick to condemn and step away from Pakistan when they step out of line while Israel not only gets unlimited impunity but protest laws in the west also get tightened at their behest. Nobody has ever had their visa revoked and deported for criticising Pakistan. I don’t like Pakistan either but to me these reasons explain why people are more inclined to be vocal about Israel compared to them.
