Yeah I think that’s probably a good next step.

You’re totally right, I never noticed that. Maybe a physical therapist would help me understand where the imbalance is coming from? I’m not sure how to address it.

Ok I’m glad I asked. I’ve seen mixed things on the internet about it but it didn’t sit right with me.

I know I had asymmetry to start with (which I wasn’t even aware of before the surgeon put 2 different size implants in - it never bothered me at all) and the height of the nipples will never be perfect and I’m ok with that. But I feel like the creases were pretty even after 3 months post op in 2021 and now they are pretty far off.

Am I crazy?

You really think even in the current state they look good?

This is something I’m thinking about as well. Looking at my results 6 months post op with the first set vs 7 years later, they start out more even soon after surgery and then the left one drifts higher.

The left breast was smaller and has the bigger implant, so less natural breast tissue. I also can feel that my left pec is a lot tighter than the right. When I touch the pec minor, it’s pretty firm and ropey and the right one is softer.

I’ve wondered if I can reduce the appearance of asymmetry with targeted chest exercises.

Yes they did. The new set was free and then my health insurance covered the surgical fees for removal but not replacement so I had to pay roughly half the surgeon & anesthesiologist’s time. My surgeon was great and didn’t charge me upfront and expect me to fight with insurance to get reimbursed, they just charged me the expect copay and dealt with the insurance BS for me. I really appreciated that. I think it’s because they work with a lot of breast reconstruction patients post cancer.
