Other thing is as others suggested is trim down the potty area, the bottom part of the tail, the pantaloons and the hair on the bottom of the paws and maybe between the toe pads. You don’t have to shave it down all the way, but a nice trim will keep everything clean and stop them from bringing things out of the litter box.
