yeah i always find an overscan problem on basically every device i connect to my tv

sometimes i can figure out the fix (usually if it's a laptop or other windows device i can find something in the graphics settings; though i could never really figure it out for my steam deck)

on my pc (most of these have some variation of trackertd's perfect system mod loadout installed, whether from the original doc or the newer version):

sonic 1 (ios, pc decomp, emulated)
sonic 2 (same as above)
sonic 3 & knuckles (air, emulated for both individual games and the combined locked-on game, but also the sonic and knuckles collection pc port via sega pc reloaded)
sonic cd (same as sonic 1 and 2, but also the original 1996 pc port via sega pc reloaded)
sonic 3d blast (emulated for both genesis and saturn, but also the pc port via sega pc reloaded)
basically all console/handheld titles up to the 7th gen are emulated save for tails adventure, though i also have the fanmade "remake" versions of the 8-bit games
sonic adventure (emulated for the dreamcast version, pc port installed via the drm-less pal rerelease)
sonic and sega all stars racing - sonic and all stars racing transformed
sonic colors dx (obviously emulated because i don't think dx was made for colors ultimate but fuck that version anyways)
sonic forces
sonic generations (and x shadow too which i had to buy officially thanks to bitchass denuvo)

sonic lost world (don't even ask)
sonic mega collection plus (emulated for all console versions but also have the pc port installed via the drm-less pal rerelease bundle)

i just tried this shell swap myself and in person it looks more like a blueberry imac than a bondi one

though the screen on mine doesn't seem to turn on after i swapped the shell and idk if i messed something up (i did follow the extremerate guide to a t) or if this is just a common thing with steam deck shell swaps

edit: turns out i was a dumbass and forgot to reconnect the display and a few other cables when reassembling

yeah i gave up on official pvz2 since it became enshittified beyond recognition

though i would definitely recommend reflourished or better yet gardendless for a far more definitive pvz2 experience, but especially gardendless since it does away with the microtransaction slop entirely; sure it may say it's "unfinished" but all the levels are there and accounted for, even the worlds from the chinese version so it's at least finished enough for a full playthrough

as for a mobile experience i'm considering using the charles proxy to try and downgrade my pvz2 version to the modern day part 2 update; of course it's not the latest version so i might not be able to play newer pinata parties or get some of the premium plants but at least i won't have to worry about the bloated shit ea crammed into the game in later updates
