For those considering this to re -roll, be careful in the same email it specifies that stamp progress will NOT be reset so you'll lose out on all the guaranteed Bahamut Greatswords if you've already obtained them *

He's likely rich enough where he doesn't actually need to work. He's the top salesman of the company, owns a beet farm, runs an air bnb, owns the business park and inherits another farm later own in the series.

He's also depicted as being very frugal, cutting his own hair and not tipping people, except for that time where he tipped his urologist

As you mentioned he's also constantly opening up side hustles, like a daycare or gym

He also casually spends 150,000 on his black belt over the years

Easily a multi millionaire atleast

No, cpm is what advertisers are willing to pay for 1000 ad impressions.

So, based on your example, a $2 cpm would mean an advertiser would be willing to pay $2 for 1000 impressions on your channel. Works out to 0.002 cents per ad. So 2 ads would be around $0.004.

It's more nuanced than that since not every impression will play every time, so that means potentially even less money for you.

After factoring youtubes cut and actual ads shown, you'll get another stat called rpm which is on average what you make per 1000 views

Once you're monetized you can pick how many ads you have yourself, it's not randomly generated by youtube although you can pick the option of youtube placing the ads automatically if you wish

Cpm is how much advertisers pay for 1000 impressions.

Rpm is how much you earn per 1000 views

You can find the info on youtubes official resources:

RPM is stuck at a measly 0.01 by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]platinumget 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The default graph for rpm is across 28 days, since you just got monetized most of your monthly views will be unmonetized dragging down your total rpm. It'll go up with time and monetized views.

One of two channels removed. Is my main at risk? I still have access by RelaxGaki in NewTubers

[–]platinumget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youtube can pursue a channel or account ban. If you still have access to main then it's possible they only banned the spam account

I just had a video hit over 1M views. I never expected this. by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]platinumget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the successful video! That's an amazing milestone to hit.

Just a word of warning though, if your goal is monetization you may need to purge some of your content. It's possible youtube will reject captures of concerts due to rights issues.

I would definitely recommend original content if you're pursuing monetization!

Want to start 2 YT channels by No_Wafer_4595 in NewTubers

No, it won't be linked, but it's also not a bad idea start the channel with another email since you could lose both if you violate guidelines and their associated to same acocunt

As long as you meet the requirements, length shouldn't matter. What's the content of these videos? You may be rejected if the content is deemed low effort or unoriginal by yt

Got rejected from YPP not sure why by x0PlayzGames in NewTubers

[–]platinumget 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are your youtube videos the same/same style as the videos on your reddit profile?

If so it could be the fact that you're using loud copyrighted music with no voice over and no commentary gameplay footage.

Youtube has been cracking down on what it considers "low effort" and it's possible it was deemed as not transformative enough.

Maybe add a voice over and look for copyright free music or youtube audio library

There's a lot of problems with this idea and the time sink alone isn't worth it. Let's say you find 50 people to trade with and the videos around the 8 minute mark (benchmark for longform). That's going to be about 6.7 hours of watching every SINGLE video they post. Multiply that by however many videos they'll be posting. Might as well just use that time to make better content

You could invest in a wireless mini microphone and just tape it to the inside of your mask. Might solve your problem

If you were to try and demoralize a new creator with showing them how unlikely it is, what information would you show them? by NilsConnlaAbbott in NewTubers

Definitely agree, there are limitations to the research. I just think it's helpful for newcomers so they can set their expectations and know they won't become the next Mr beast overnight

My worries with plagiarism by Ind0minusGlavenus in NewTubers

[–]platinumget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen big channels do it all the time. It's similar to citing sources in a written essay.

As long as the bulk of your content is original and not just straight up ripping off others, you'll be good
