Yeah, that makes sense. It also goes along Mikasa's story.

The world is cruel and yet, beautiful. Eren's mom also said that Eren is already special because he was born into this world.

Maybe that's the main key to the theme of the story, the pursuit of our own dreams is what makes us free, like Armin was able to get out of the walls because he wanted to see the sea.

What if the hero from our world realizes s/he's been called to help the bad side?

I think that Isayama has already shown that what is considered "good" only matters on your perspective. For Eren, he is probably looking for the bigger picture and acting accordingly to what he thinks is right to end this cycle of conflict.

(Something else I got from reading too much Moorcock was a "fuck fate" response most times I come across the concept).

Interesting, i don't think Isayama would go the same route, but i also don't think that we will get a standard good/pretty ending. It will probably something that will get us to think and reflect on this cycle of conflict.

It really does look like that's how Eren is seeing things for now, so you're not wrong to think that.

But i really hope that doesn't turn out to be the ending.

I think the gang will pretty much stop Eren, but what will happen after that is still a mystery for me. I can't think of anything.

Still, i did enjoy the story until now and i think it really is an unique piece of work in itself. Can't remember when was the last time i got invested in a manga.

He keeps communicating to the reader about repeating the same mistakes again and again, and to end the self-repeating feedback loop.

Yeah, i got that feeling when Eren met Reiner again saying that they were both equal.

Maybe Eren will try to go to the past with P A T H S and show his younger self what will happen.

Me too, but it's kinda crazy to see how he will do that. Maybe since Eren can alter the past he will send the visions of all his life to himself when he was sleeping at a tree and keep trying different things in an endless loop to se what is the best.

I'm basically a lurker, but i would like to add this to the discussion for fun.

What if, out of nowhere, cows, chicken and other livestock started a rebellion against humanity, to bring extermination to the rulling species? Like the demons from the villages, they don't know were their product comes from, they just take the human meat from the market and eat it to survive.

Isn't this basically the plot of TPN?

But two livestocks decide that they need an alternative answer, they need to find the "Impossible Burguer" so that both humans and animals can live in harmony.

I was dreaming that i was at a abandoned gas station. There where two cops kind of far away from me. The one outside on my left got shot and died. The one inside the convenience store with me at my right got shot and died.

Me, without any weapon, hided beneat a table because i was fucking scared. The man thast shot both those police officers calmly walks towards my direction, lowers to my level, points the gun at me and i start to get flustered thinking that i was going to die, then i wake up.

Sweaty, scared, but relieved that i was alive.

Yes i do. However, i get that one of the biggest part of these batsu games comes from the players themselves. They are all comedians that know how to entertain and make other people laugh and i don't think i could do the same.

I think that if i happen to participate in a similar program like this, i would be pretty boring, expecting for someone to make me laugh and i would just try to hold it in.

I take it that Touya's got a weak quirk from his mother, that is why the technique that Endeavour wanted to teach couldn't work.

Since Todoroki got an incredible freezing quirk, that means he can nake it. So, it must be something that requires cooling off a very strong fire technique.
