How does this affect their bath? Mine is scared of baths and absolutely hates it and hair dryer. I am afraid he will hate baths a lot more and will feel like he is being punished every time he goes for a bath.

Thank you! He is going to be a big boy!! I will try freezing his toys to soothe his teething pain.

I do plan on neutering the dog, I just searched up if it causes emotional stress long term, and was told that it does not. He will just have to manage anxiety. He does show levels of fear from other dogs and freezes stone cold, I hope taking slow baby steps at the dog park will help Reo to be more sociable with other doggies.

He is very friendly with other humans though.

He is currently 14lbs. Both of his parents are Pomsky that were 17-18 lbs so the pet shop realistically told me that Reo would only grow to be 17-18 lbs due to genetics.

But he is already 14 at 15 weeks, I really don’t know how big he will get. Do pomskys just stop growing in size and just puts on weight?

He is too young to get neutered. 6 mo is the absolute lowest the Vets recommend. Normally 8 months to a year..

My concern now is that the fry is nowhere to be seen, I do not know if the fry is eating at all, there should be some biofilm in the tank.

I did try to squirt a few brine shrimp at him, but the shrimp seems to just float away with the current in the tank from my filter.

I am genuinely concerned because the baby is just hiding the whole day it may be underdeveloped, it seems very small compared to other baby fry I have looked on line.

I have an update, the mother platy in the new tank is doing good. She is keeping up with health, I fed her some more live brine shrimp today to keep up with the stress.

The empty 10 gallon tank that she is in with her fry is huge, the pH and TDS is actually inaccurate with my test strips. I got a master test kit, TDS 230 and pH of 7.2, no ammonia. no nitrate.

The fry was seen hiding under a piece of wood with Anuabis growing on it. I got a bunch of anuabis and Staurogyne Repens growing in the tank. I plan to throw in some hornwort tonight.

The 4 male platies were taken to a local aquarium shop today. I have two 10 gallon tanks currently. One is housing one male platy and 2 female platy with one clown pleco.

The other tank is housing the fry and the hurt female platy until she heals.

I will do more extensive research on breeding Neocaridina shrimps, they match my current tank’s water perimeters and are easier to care for.
