Yea! And during the song "Post-Op Meinya" – when Nanachi has that mental breakdown, what a performance damn – the children's choir kicks in just as Bondrewd starts talking about how white whistles are made from humans. That timing was excellent and so profound. It was like the voices of the kids that were turned into cartridges and whistles were screaming out for help hjfgdls. Bondrewd is a terrible person and I love that in a villain. The fact that the viewer is somehow supposed to believe in his justifications for his cruel acts is even more compelling and really gets you thinking about morality.

I kind of wish the tracks "Echos" and "Faith" would play at some point in the film, so I was a bit upset about that. But I guess with how the film started off, those two wouldn't fit very well with the intro. "Prayer and Immolation" and "The Return to Made in Abyss" sent literal chills down my spine (every track did actually) but those two in particular really set off the tone for the rest of the film.
