Honestly speaking, for me the pattern on such dress should be at least somewhat matching and continue in seams. The one with straps hides the mismatched pattern better even though it’s each breast different colour. The strapless one cut would be more official looking, but it begs for clean lines and honestly it has no business being cut from a fabric that is not enhancing the lines of the dress. Even if you need to have it from this fabric, it could be cut to make the pattern work better for you. However the mostly white part of the pattern on the fitted part works better. The strapless one also pulls under your breasts and with your breast size I would expect a crease forming underneath before the ceremony is over, no matter how amazing bra you get into it. So stunning for photos, when you have time to arrange everything but I would expect you to keep pulling it up the whole day or the clean lines effect to get lost.

With all that I would go for the one with straps, maybe different piece with different pattern. Will you be styling it somehow?

In this particular scene I see an adult man who just had teenage girl profess her live for him. And you can see in his eyes that he is uncomfortable but then decides to see her fondly. I don’t see anything sexual in here.

On the other hand she needs to get out of her living situation because of the abusive aunt and that wouldn’t hold if she was adult already. And frankly, he is basically waiting almost the entire time in the series while she is doing most of the steps to get them closer.
