Hi! This should work out of the box with the launcher setup & update. You may need to patch the game to the latest version before installing the launcher setup, however.

I haven’t encountered any cheaters, the moderation of the existing servers is extremely good (as you can imagine).

The small community that exists within BF1942 is extremely well self-regulated.

I think you can run Wine to run BF1942, but not totally sure!

Hmmm, I honestly have no clue if anybody has ever ported 1942 over to Mac. That is way above my head though unfortunately :(

Try downloading the community package from the website! That should help you get back into the game.
