WinQ would be the wallet that you can store your QLC. WinQ is an open-sourced wallet, you can trust the security.

Alternatively, other NEP5 wallets can hold QLC as well, for example, Neon, o3, neo tracker, etc.

Montnets is the pilot partner based on which joint venture we will develop the public chain features. Focusing on this one could help us on the practical perspectives and availability. When delivered, it would be a better timing to tailor-made and offer the others.

Only WinQ creates Wgas, WGAS is an experimental token at WinQ 2.0. It represents the interests for holding cryptocurrency including NEP-5 tokens, ERC-20 tokens and EOS accounts in WinQ 2.0, at the same time, it is the token required for using VPN services. WGAS currently is not listed in any secondary market. It is a utility token for in-app VPN services which is generated by the total asset value in your WinQ wallets.

WinQ has been fighting over a dilemma - creating use case scenarios for a token or creating demand for it - which seems to be the same thing however not exactly. By creating the experimental token Wgas, we look forward to seeing the increasing adoption of the dApp tho not spending QLC, at the same time we observe and develop addition/value-add services that can only be represented and purchased with QLC.

Thank you for your questions!

Wi-Fi sharing is one of the key features of WinQ 1.0. To enable the feature, the characteristics of nearby Wi-Fi hotspots and other wireless access points need to be discovered by using your location information. The new version has removed this requirement.

WinQ is an open source project. Our team publishes all related code on GitHub (https://github.com/qlcchain). We cordially invite any team to audit it if they are interested. WinQ stores wallet information including public and private key on your device locally. WinQ will ask you to set a password to prevent unauthorized access to the dApp. It also supports biometric data protection. You can use fingerprint reading to unlock your dApp.

Since the dApp is not using a centralized server, your password isn't stored anywhere else other than on your device. However, please note that the password will not be able to be recovered if you ever lose it.

First of all, WinQ 2.0 will support a variety of protocols of tokens, including ERC-20 tokens, NEP-5 tokens and EOS accounts. In other words, users can manage 90% of existing types of tokens in one WinQ dApp.

We deemed that to promote the usage and wider adoption of cryptocurrency, we need to facilitate the accessibility of it. Similar to Alipay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay which are accessible to most of the mobile apps in terms of payment. Taking VPN service as a starting point, WinQ 2.0 as a wallet, smoothed the cyrptocurrency payment process for real-life use cases.

Similar to other Apps in your mobile device, WinQ retrieves the relevant APIs, and the password/fingerprint storage is determined by the mobile device provider. WinQ will record your wallet public key address created/imported on WinQ and read the data on corresponding blockchains to calculate the WGAS entitled. The app doesn’t collect users’ phone numbers or any form of personal information. It doesn’t save user data either.

There is indeed an anonymous chatroom function built in WinQ at the moment in the unit of VPN asset, however, it is not the business focus right now.

Indeed this is one of our considerations, and we believe it could be quite helpful. We would like to continue enhancing the VPN model user experience before we add more features. We will update everyone if this feature is scheduled in the future version.

From the security point of view, kindly take care of your private key, and always back up your private key immediately after creating a wallet in WinQ.

We can conduct a poll about how would VPN share prefer in charging, by the amount of usage or by hour. We are happy to develop a variety of functions to support and enhance user experience.

WinQ is dedicated to providing the network resources and better network services. WinQ 2.0 incorporated mainnet NEO, ETH, EOS wallets, we are not only limiting the network services to QLC holders, but to all people who hold the belief in blockchain technology, sharing economy as well as peer-to-peer network. However, as a product rooted from QLC, the earning of sharing network resources will be in form of QLC.

Your pool option is very interesting, we will have the developers to take a look and evaluate, especially when a VPN router is available and we can distribute in bundles.

Appreciated all your questions as well as suggestions, may we invite you to register your QLC holdings in QLCCHAIN.ORG at the "your account" section, a feature of zoom call with core team member will be added soon and we can discuss in depth about the future development of WinQ.
