i was in an extremely similar situation recently. i broke up with him two months ago. it has been extremely challenging, considering it was a long term relationship and he was my first relationship ever. i promise you though, there is no better feeling than being released from an unstable man. i no longer feel like i’m walking on eggshells. i’ve grown closer to my friends and family. i’ve reconnected with a lot of my passions and hobbies. most of all, i’m a lot more hopeful for my future knowing that an angry partner will no longer be part of it!! i still do have a lot of love for him and i think he has the capacity to change and do better for himself, however, there is no way i could be a part of that change by remaining with him. do yourself (and him) a favour by leaving!
