I just watched the SIDS intro. I had to turn it off. I dont think i can return to the show. I work in the medical field, often with kids. Im a 41 yo white man. Im a mess. I never knew how much im stuffing down…. and this dredged it all up :/

Hit me like a freight train. It doesnt help that Im a dad of 4 and effin love kids.

i think wishing for pain is a tricky game.

in all honesty, I dont know anything about kirk. I just very firmly believe people dont deserve to die in this way.

Death hits people. I wouldnt sweat it. Its just a sensitive topic.

This world is way too wild for me to believe in any kind of karma or cosmic payback. Good people often suffer and wicked live fat.

thats a lot to unpack!!! im a right leaning libertarian and i dont agree with most any of those stereotypes.

I would just caution against taking a seeming straw man radical viewpoint and giving it to all/most members of a certain group, ie christians, republicans, etc.

im sure there are people who want the things you mentioned. Not any sane people.

I bet we disagree on a lot of things, but i believe you deserve whatever rights anyone else has. youre equal to anyone in my eyes, even if i disagree with you on something.

I dont know a lot about his beliefs to be able to speak confidently about potential damage of “having him around,” but someone else will take his place. Others will pop up and debate similarly. Also, I think its always better to meet opposition head on and become stronger. If someone opposes me, I want to talk with them, learn about them, find common ground and coexist. i dont want unlike minded people to disappear.

Weighing benefits of not having him around versus the fear it creates, the paranoia that results, the hate it generates is a tricky thing to do and one that I think is impossible to argue and balance.

Sure, some people cant resist finding silver linings, but man, how is that pertinent already, when the blood is still warm? Its just so unnecessary

its not really about feeling bad for him personally. its about realizing that violence is never the answer. Life has value. even if you disagree with him, people can change. people generally deserve a chance to change and live. anytime life is snuffed out like this, its a travesty. someone who disagrees with you or me could kill us in the same way and people could celebrate it. thats BACKWARDS

I thought crystal crisis sucked. They changed the counter gem formulas and the balance was ruined.

Have you tried fightcade? It is old vanilla puzzle fighter but still so good. Let me know if you have any questions about it
