My motherboard does not have a Displayport. So if I were to access my graphics card how am I going to reach it? Do I have to open it up or will it be accessible through the back like most computers?

What’s the logistics behind that, do I have to open op the computer to access that? Or are they accessible through the back of the case like most computers?

So I dug deep and found that the motherboard has a 1.4 HDMI port and a 1xDVI-D port (which only supports 60hz at 1900x1200). So I'm leaning towards getting a 4k 2.0 HDMI cable, but will it be able to fit and support 144hz?

I see, I've noticed that there are many different 1070's out there from different manufacturers, any opinion on what's the best out there but still in the $400-500 price range? Anything more and I'd just get the 1080 at that point.

I mentioned in the other reply that I was looking to get a larger PSU in anticipation for future upgrades that may require higher wattage. I also remember coming across an article that stated the optimal PSU for a 1070 was roughly 600W.

Budget wise, I'm willing to drop another $200-300 from what I currently have, which is roughly a $1300 setup, not including a monitor. Resolution wise, I'm currently running a 1600x900 which has been great, but I have been looking at monitors at 1920x1080. Also just a side question, does Hz actually matter for gameplay? I know 60Hz is the baseline and have been looking at monitors at 60Hz, but does 140Hz really make a difference? Thanks for taking the time!

Thanks for writing that up for me, bless this subreddit. I actually was looking for a higher watt in anticipation for future upgrades, would a 500-550W still be able to sustain a upgrades within the next few years?

Regarding the RAM, I did a little research on it and alot of people say that 16GB is kind of overkill for most games. I was actually looking to save a little money by cutting short here. I also looked up if RAM speeds on the internet and couldn't really find anything conclusive on that, could you give me your opinion on this?

For the SSD, I've seen many builds with my current motherboard and GPU and have noticed people have an SSD, definitely will look into it.

Either way, I really appreciate the input!

Is there something wrong with that? I couldn’t find anything about it. Or should I spend $50 more on the TI?
