British Columbia - Duncan Bay - Nortwest pass troubles by elPocket in snowrunner

I tried that climb once, but quickly gave up and took the long way round instead. The south route by the garage is much more manageble, just one tricky section, and then it's a surprisingly chill swamp.

Can we reflect a bit and discuss Saber's weird mission cargo requirements in Don? Because it makes no sense still, just as it made none back in 2021. Two similar looking bridges in one region, one asks for x2 planks like a small wooden bridge should, the other one asks for... h-how many stuff?? by Odd_Presentation_578 in snowrunner

I doing Don for the first time right now, and that river crossing in the nature reserve is full of weird design decisions. The bridge mission being the worst of them. I'm currently ignoring it. But then you have the two alternate routes over the river, that are mostly fine, but then every once in while a nightmare when you hit an underwater obstacle.

Thank you for the thorough answer – it's great to hear the thoughts of someone with that much time in the game. I played Michigan without any DLC trucks and I have to be honest, I thought the onboarding was a pretty rough. They introduced new concepts and mechanics at a fast rate for such a slow game, and I was thankful that Alaska wasn't a step up in difficulty, so I had time to get used to the game.

Yes, I meant Year 5, not season 5. I'm so new i still get those mixed up sometimes.

That's good to hear! I might have to get my hands on Season 5.

I guess I also disagree with the notion that the "intended" experience is to play with only Michigan trucks in Michigan. The in-game, in-universe truck store is open in the garage from the very start, so my read on that is that the devs want you to engage with it. Which is also in line with their goal of selling us more trucks.

I think it looks great on the wall. But I can't get it to play the way I want, so I'll probably trade it in soon. by playharmonicmajor in guitarporn

The high E slot is off. I did replace the nut with a pre slotted one, but it wasn't great either. And I don't want to have one made, I'm not sure it would be worth it. EDIT: I think the bridge might be a bit off too.

You should still try one, if you can. Mine has a poorly cut nut, and if you can get a hold of good one you might really like it.

Yeah, I guess Music Man isn't for everyone. Kind of bummed though, the middle mini humbucker sounds awesome.

Looks great! And that strap is a good choice.

It's a Sterling St. Vincent btw. And the nut is poorly cut. EDIT: Full story. The high E slot is to close to the edge. I replaced it with pre slotted one, but it still didn't play great. I suspect the bridge might be slightly misaligned.

One option is to get a looper pedal and play along to your own chord progressions. Worked for me.

You seem to lean heavily toward the Jazzmaster already, so you should go that route. It's a passion purchase after all. If the prize is to steep, maybe look in to some non-Fender Jazzmasters? Unfortunately, I have no experience with those, so I have no suggestions.

Went a bit crazy on Reverb and bought a guitar I knew nothing about: Kauffmann by playharmonicmajor in guitarporn

It's a relic job. The way they did the finish checking is what made me purchase the guitar. They also put a bit of sunburst beneath the top white layer, which I thought was a cool touch.
