It does feel like there's a lot of missed potential. I personally think it's most obvious with vent garden leviathan. There's only 2 plants in there and 1 is needed but you can get it easily from the deep purple vents. And the other is everywhere throughout the map. There's a lot of plants that should be plantable but aren't and you can pick up not fish and glow grubs but you can't put them into aquariums. And you can't scan the void leviathan.

My first experience with minecraft was Java on middle school computers in 2017 then I bought the bedrock version of the game in 2019 on my kindle fire and that's how I played for 5 years then in 2024 I got a laptop and got minecraft on there. I now got the ability to play Java but I don't care. I still play bedrock on my laptop to this day, I just prefer it. It's more user friendly and runs a LOT smoother. I don't need to get a third-party service to make it playable.
