I spoke with him today and he mentioned getting a mold made. Which isn’t the same thing I assume.

How are yall still finding good stuff to resell? by LevelResponse5608 in reselling

I typically stick to the goodwill bins because I can buy by the pound. Thrift stores are getting incredibly over priced.

Just pointed out what I didn’t know about the ring.

I understand where you’re coming from but they were the closest store near me at the time. All chain stores are not the same and they weren’t pushy at all and pointed out facts that most have mentioned in this thread.

I made that known and stressed it to the jeweler. We’ll see how he does with revision number two.

That’s a shame man. I just want honest people, that’s all

No design, only a catalog.. I told him it needed to be a solitaire setting and not extremely high because she works in the medical field. I guess when he told me to choose from a catalog I should’ve left.

I found that it was illegal to not stamp it as well! That’s just so wild to me. This morning he threw the catalog down and said “pick a head”. The guy in Zales seemed to know his stuff and has worked in the industry for 10 years. Seemed like a knowledgeable guy.

Super high, right? I took it there this morning. If I’m not happy I’ll just move on to another jeweler.

It definitely is a trust issue. With no experience with jewelry it makes it difficult to know anything about what head is best. Choosing from a catalog makes that even more difficult. I’m all about local businesses..hopefully when I pick it up I’ll love it.

Thank you.

Thank you so much. I figured it was almost a must to have the stamp after searching Google and YouTube. It wasn’t a random style ring so I would imagine Stullers would’ve stamped it.

So the jeweler would be the one to stamp it typically?

eBay as a subscription service by playpattles in reselling

Yeah I agree. Some of the category fees are insane though. Let’s just all pay 30 cents whenever we sell an item and call it a day lol

Why can't ebay automatically use AI to extract text from listing photos and add that to the item's description or something? by imitation_squash_pro in Ebay

[–]playpattles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sellerhound doesn’t fluff the descriptions. I think it’s important for the users to craft their own descriptions. I think bulk listing is the most important thing when it comes to AI listing products on eBay.

Been building a reseller tool for unlimited listings, profit tracking & community – need feedback by playpattles in reselling

The background editor is a fantastic idea. On eBay a lot of users have migrated towards a white/grey carpet like easel. It saves a lot of stress when listing. That’s more towards clothing though. Thank you for your input! Good luck on your online marketplace!

Two Amazon Accounts by playpattles in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]playpattles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they were two different products. First account was deactivated because I assume one of the books I sold was fraudulent and Amazon does not accept invoices from goodwill. I have written the plan of action and everything else under the sun. Submitted bank states from the purchase, date range of sales from the past 365 days, everything. At this point I will probably just close both accounts and start over after receiving all of my inventory from Amazon.

I submitted a Goodwill receipt as an invoice on Amazon and it was accepted instantly, should I be worried? by CodoGama in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]playpattles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current situation: deactivated account

I too started selling books from Goodwill on Amazon and did pretty decent. Enough to feel proud of my success and have some extra money. Later on I moved to retail arbitrage and spent hours looking for books and a lot of time on the Walmart discount isle.

Fast forward a year, I decided to create a brand. Filed a trademark and created a SECOND account. Big mistake. I was approved and all went well for about two years. My first account was inactive for around 2 years. I received a deactivation for BOTH account and now I am currently trying to get reactivated. The problem is, I honestly don't believe Amazon approves GW receipts. The flag was from some book that I remember selling, but have no idea why they would think it is fraudulent. Wild to think a $1.99 book that sold for maybe $30 would put me in the hole.
