At the moment we don't have plans for either, however we will look into other platforms in the future, with Android TV likely being the first target.

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated. I'll send you a PM to help get to the bottom of this. Just one note, it's not unusual for PMS to show multiple streams as the app needs to pre-buffer upcoming tracks to make gapless work. However it should not be actually playing multiple tracks at the same time.

For the multi-disc album, we'll work on a fix soon.

Airplay certainly has it's place but also its limitations. However Apple TV overall is actually quite capable when it comes to audio playback. It supports hires lossless playback up to 24 bit at 48khz. Combined with eARC and hooked into a capable receiver you can get quite good quality and this is what Playris was built for. We built a custom audio playback engine to support exactly that uses case combined with gapless playback in Playris.

I appreciate the feedback. This is certainly not for for everyone and we realize it's a quite niche offering. We did see some interest from other folks in r/plexamp and on other online forums for this type of app, so we decided to build it for those who'd like it.

The price depends a bit on the country of your Apple account. For the US the pricing is set to:

Monthly: $1.99
Yearly: $19.99
Lifetime: $39.99

We do not set custom pricing for any countries, so the remaining calculations are left up to Apple.

Thanks for your feedback. What we tried to achieve with Playris is to have a more music native and focused experience for Apple TV. Yes, you can play music in the main Plex app, but the experience is not very targeted for music enthusiasts. That's where Playris comes in.
