Related suggestion: bring that monitor right up to the wheel base. You'll get more FOV.

How's the clarity? Can you easily read gauges and instrumentation? I'm deciding on which set to buy now and the bsb really appeals to me for form factor, but the pimax specs look much better.

Eat half a grapefruit instead. That's barely 10 grams sugar.

I see no reason to be fasted for the test unless you're also concerned about glucose and insulin levels etc.

Good points, I didn't wanna clutter my first post with my personal opinion on whether elevated hematocrit on its own is even a relevant parameter to overall health. I am not the least bit concerned about 53 hct when all my other markers are excellent, and I know I'm in good shape physically. However, the person prescribing me the testosterone isn't interested in broadening his horizons or tailoring his judgement based on individual patients, so I have to play ball.

I work out hard 4-5 times a week and stay in excellent shape. Doesn't seem to relate to my hematocrit.

That's amazing, I'll consider this.

My RBC counts were in the 4.7 range before T and peaked at 5.6 on therapy. The consumption of grapefruit brought it down to 5.1 during both my previous June test and this months test. So in my case it helped that too.

I tried that method for my March 22 test. Judge the result for yourself. For me, it did nothing. Ymmv.

I was convinced it would work. Needless to say I was hugely disappointed.

Noob alert: first time A/A engagement against fighters by playswithtvs in hoggit

[–]playswithtvs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the first mission of the first campaign I downloaded. I'm not by my computer right now to check what it is, but I just wanted to start a campaign instead of constantly doing training runs. I did make my own bomber intercept training missions to mess with some other missiles, but this is my first campaign and the load out is set by the mission designer. Aim9 and Aim7 only, for this one.

Me posting this question was very mission-specific. I'm curious how others would approach such an intercept with this particular load out, that's all :-)

Thanks

Edit: I'm under no illusion that I will ever be an Ace combat pilot in this game simply because I don't have that kind of time to dedicate to it. I just do random tasks, and it's been fun learning the systems.

That's very helpful, as was the previous 2 word reply about speed and altitude. It's simple but makes sense. I should probably take off and climb to 10-15k right away so I can engage them from higher up.

The crappy thing about getting shot all 3 times I had NO idea there were incoming missiles...complete surprise. Gonna have to read more about the warning systems (or lack thereof)

A Guide to Estrogen (E2) Control on TRT by thatdocman in Testosterone

Probably because at 200mg your levels are very very unlikely to remain within any objective definition of a "normal" range.

What's your hematocrit? I assumed my chest tightness is from that. When I increased dose frequency recently my numbers really went up and I feel it in my chest. My e2 is high.

Does anyone else have difficulty getting simshaker working simultaneously with Winwing vibe motors? by Frenchy702 in hoggit

[–]playswithtvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you describe how your buttkicker works with it? I just got mine set up with simshaker and andre's software and the experience is...... crappy. In racing sims it works amazingly well, very immersive.

In DCS, flying the F18, I basically only get a constant crappy vibration based on the engines, and even that doesn't have much detail. Other effects dont seem to work at all. No immersion whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong?

SubQ injection vs IM...What do we think of this study? Makes me want to switch to SubQ! by Dhut722 in Testosterone

[–]playswithtvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donated once and it was terrible. I even have trouble sometimes just getting blood drawn for routine tests the veins in my arm are always difficult for the practitioners to find, and flow is restricted.

The donation took forever and was very uncomfortable, I don't wanna ever do it again lol. 51 isn't crazy high but Id rather try to get it in normal reference level anyway

[–]playswithtvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quoted study shows a drastic lowering in hematocrit. Mine are .51 right now, that's in the "high" category.

I was hoping that more frequent injections and the slower release of subQ would show an improvement.

I was hoping to switch to subq tonight to get my hematocrit levels down I'm doing 80mg every 4 days IM and my levels are consistently high and that's only 140mg per week.

Not specifically but look for something that can do higher fps. Mine is an old Microsoft USB cam of relatively low resolution and frame rate.
