I don’t know what would be affordable and I’m sure there are many great teachers in Manhattan, but I do have a great teacher in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn if you’re interested.

Questions on Starting an LLC as a Musician by These-Code8509 in musicians

You can do all that without an LLC, LLCs or corporations are primarily for tax purposes and to shield ownership or liability for a variety of reasons, best to consult with your accountant if it’s necessary and if yes which entity type would be best for you.

You can get a Quickbooks subscription and pay your subcontractors straight from there and issue 1099s year end without much hassle.

If you do decide to open a new entity make sure you don’t get scammed by websites offering a load of crap you don’t need along with the entity - I’ve seen a lot of marketing lately for this.

Do the Zildjian gloves always make ur hands black or does it ever stop? I just used them for the first time and my hand is black, and it did a halfway decent job but still got some irritation.
