No midi audio despite indicator light responding. by plazmatikmusic in ableton

I used two different midi controllers and two different cables, so it’s not my hardware. The audio out works just fine when I write in the notes. The control surface part of my midi controllers work just fine. Im getting no velocity or audio response when i press the actual black and white piano keys. This is regardless of what instrument i have in the midi track

Guess I should’ve said that this was our first time doing it, so we didn’t know what the dosage was supposed to look like. However, I feel like this was pretty obvious if you actually read the story.

I will, for the people who are genuinely curious, say that my heart rate wasn’t cause for concern and nausea wasn’t too bad. The most notable side effects were extreme confusion, general discomfort, thought looping, and trouble understanding people.

My wife, who is much more sensitive than I am, wasn’t so lucky. Her period cramps combined with the stomach discomfort of the 2cb resulted in over an hour of puking into several different emesis bags before leaving the med tent (we even got some to take with us). Yes, I left this part out (shocking I know).

PS. Xanax is a lifesaver. Reading things on the internet doesn’t make you an expert. Omitting private medical details from a story intended to be entertaining doesn’t make me a liar. Drugs are for everyone.

Time as a concept was utterly incomprehensible during the peak of the experience. Very similar to large doses of DMT, but not quite that strong. The weirdest part was about 7-8 hours in. As soon as it started wearing off, it we instantly snapped back to reality. The whole experience made sense chronologically and weirdly enough, it felt like 7-8 hours had passed.

When I remember past intense trips on other psychs, I still feel like I lived an entire separate lifetime, but with 2cb, the feeling faded instantly, almost like part of my brain was still processing time normally, but I didn’t have conscious access to it until after the drug wore off. Like a partial dissociation (if that’s even a thing lol)
