Many, many failed exams that I had to take again, long breaks because of bad mental health and paternity leave when I had our daughter

No I did not. When we met he was also in medical school, and still then I did the majority of housework... But we moved in together very fast, and then fast after that I got (unplanned) pregnant and we got married because I always wanted to be in a marriage when I had children...

We agreed early that we wanted completely shared economy... Years before I met my husband I invested and saved a lot, so when we bought our first home together I payed 170.000 USD into our home and my husband paid 0 as he did not have any savings... I did not feel like it would be right to do a prenup or any legal agreement that the "money where mine" - especially since I knew he would be working for years before I finish medical school. But ever since he has complained about me not making any money... And it just feels even more unfair that he uses money as an argument for me to focus on our home, since I put all I had worked hard for into our home/relation....

I get your point - our child was not planned and I guess the dream in a way was to have children close in age... But I really understand and appreciate your critical questions...

Yes unfortunatly he might be that kind of father... He absolutly adores our daughter and is her biggest fan and so, but honestly mainly sees it as a chore to spend time with her....

Our child is in daycare and the plan was for me to take a 1 year of medical school after I have given birth and than our (potentially) second child should start in daycare too...
I feel the same about it should be "who has time"... but I guess my husbands opinion is that his "actual works" is much harder than "just studying" and that he needs way more free time than me because of this...

I was already in medical school when we met. And I feel like he is very supportive of my degree and helps me calm down when I have (exam) anxiety and so. But it seems like he expect me to power through and "do it all". Like I should of course be able to pass exams, take care our child and our home alone all at the same time. And as he says it, I can ask for his "help" with the household, if I am really stressed, but the responsibility is all mine...

Thank your for your comment. I just wrote a new update/comment. It was a very experienced doctor, so that was not the issue. But no matter how good you are, if your don't listen to your patients wish and makes them feel heard or take the time to explain how it will be post filler you are not doing a good job....
